About Me
I am an IT Consultant living in the midwest. My primary specialty is in Microsoft .NET technologies.
In my spare time I practice Shinkendo, which is 16th century Japanese battle tactics. I am currently ranked Jiho. I also enjoy learning the Japanese language, eating sushi, playing video games, and spending time with my family. In December of 2007 I was blessed with a baby girl, Aurora. Much of my free time is now devoted to her.
I enjoy all movies with Toshiro Mifune, but my favorites are Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Sanjuro, and Shogun. I am a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy. I also enjoy watching anime, and my favorite 3 series are Samurai 7, Trigun, and Last Exile.
My favorite books are Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi and Lone Samurai by William Scott Wilson.
